Shipping Policy

Fossilseum operates through its main logistics and support center in Spain. To maintain a diverse and globally sourced collection, we also fulfill orders from carefully selected partner warehouses worldwide.

Global Fulfillment Network

Depending on inventory availability and fossil origin, your order may be shipped from one of our storage and preparation centers located in:

  • United States
  • Mongolia
  • Morocco
  • Brazil

These centers allow us to offer a wider range of fossils while keeping prices competitive and inventory diverse.

Delivery Timeframes

We work with leading global carriers including DHL Express, FedEx, UPS, Correos España, and SEUR to ensure your order arrives safely. However, please note the following:

Delivery times may vary depending on warehouse location—even for customers within Spain or the European Union. Orders fulfilled from international warehouses may take longer than usual due to customs or logistics handling.

Packaging & Processing

All items are handled with extreme care:

  • Processing time: 2–4 business days

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout.
  • You are only charged once, even for multi-warehouse shipments.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless due to an error or defect.

Returns & Exchanges

We offer a 30-day return and exchange policy from the date of purchase.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
  • All documents and Certificates of Authenticity must be included.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or made-to-order fossils
  • Final-sale or clearance items
  • Items damaged due to customer mishandling

Exchange Process

Exchanges are available for eligible items within the 30-day window.

  • Contact us first to authorize the exchange.
  • Send the item back following our instructions.
  • We will ship the replacement once received and approved.

Refund Policy

Once your returned item is inspected and approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Shipping charges and ~3% processing fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Lost, Damaged, or Incorrect Orders

If your item arrives damaged, is not what you ordered, or is lost in transit:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery or expected arrival.
  • Provide photos and your order number.
  • We will investigate and offer a replacement, refund, or store credit.

To initiate a return or exchange:

  3. Include:
    • Full name
    • Reason for return or exchange
    • Proof of purchase
    • Photos if applicable
  4. We will respond within 1 business day with instructions and the return address.
