We believe that price should be a conversation — not a barrier. That’s why we’ve introduced our “Make an Offer” option across selected items in our shop. Whether you’re a collector, a curious buyer, or just looking to find fair value, this feature gives you the opportunity to propose a price you’re comfortable with — no pressure, no hidden rules.
On this page, we’ll explain how the offer system works, how we respond to offers, and how to make the most of this opportunity. Everything is designed to keep it simple, transparent, and fair — just the way we’d want it if we were in your shoes.
What Is “Make an Offer”?
“Make an Offer” is our way of letting you negotiate directly with us. Instead of committing to the full listed price, you can suggest a price that reflects what the item is worth to you. We’ll then review your offer and either accept it, counter with an adjusted amount, or politely decline.
We offer this because we understand that everyone shops differently — and sometimes, the perfect price is somewhere in between. It’s ideal for one-of-a-kind items, fossils with flexible pricing, or buyers looking to bundle or negotiate.
How to Make an Offer
Making an offer takes less than a minute, and there’s no commitment until we both agree on the price. Here’s how it works:
- Click the “Make an Offer” button on the product page of any eligible item.
- Enter the amount you’d like to pay — the number you feel is fair and realistic.
- Optionally, add a short note. A friendly message goes a long way — something like “Happy to buy today if accepted” helps us know you’re serious.
- Click “Continue” to submit the offer. You’ll see confirmation right away, and we’ll receive it instantly on our end.
We treat every offer with respect and respond as promptly as possible. Your offer is not a commitment to buy — it’s an invitation to talk. And we appreciate that.
What Happens After You Submit
Once your offer comes in, our team personally reviews it. We look at the item, your proposed price, your message (if included), and the item’s current availability or demand. Based on that, we’ll respond in one of three ways:
- Accept: You’ll receive an email with a link to check out at the price you offered. It’s yours at that price, guaranteed.
- Counter: If your offer was close but not quite there, we’ll suggest a slightly higher price that works for us. You’ll then have the option to accept it or make a new offer.
- Decline: If the offer is too far off or the item is firm-priced, we may decline — respectfully and without judgment.
All communication will come via email. Most responses go out within a few hours, but please allow up to 24 hours during busy periods. We review every offer ourselves — there’s no automation or bots involved.
What Makes a Strong Offer
We love fair negotiations. If you want your offer to be seriously considered, keep these tips in mind:
- Offers within 10–20% of the listed price are most likely to be accepted.
- Very low offers (like 50% off) may be ignored unless paired with a thoughtful reason.
- Include a brief message if possible. A little context — such as interest in multiple items or an explanation — can make a big difference.
- Be respectful. We appreciate honesty and reason, and we always respond in kind.
We’re not trying to upsell — just trying to find the right middle ground where everyone wins. If we can meet in the middle, we’re happy to make it happen.
Offer Limits and Etiquette
To keep things simple and avoid spammy tactics, we’ve put a few light boundaries in place:
- You can submit up to 3 offers per product every 24 hours.
- Any counter-offers we send back do not count against your limit — you can always reply to those.
- If an offer is declined, you’re free to submit a new one later — or check out at the current price.
These limits exist to keep the experience pleasant, not restrictive. If you have a genuine interest in an item, you’ll never feel like you’re fighting against the system.
Is My Offer Binding?
No. You’re never locked in just for submitting an offer. Offers are non-binding and optional. You’re only expected to complete a purchase if:
- We accept your offer, and
- You decide to go through checkout.
That’s it. Until that moment, you’re free to change your mind, revise your offer, or simply walk away. We built this system on trust — not pressure.
If Your Offer Is Accepted
Great news — you’ve found the price that works for both of us. When your offer is accepted, here’s what happens:
- You’ll receive an email with a unique checkout link for that item at your accepted price.
- You’ll have 24 hours to complete the purchase before the offer expires.
- The product will be reserved for you during that time — no one else can buy it.
We kindly ask that you complete payment within that window to keep everything fair. If time runs out, the item may go back up at full price or be offered to the next interested buyer.
If Your Offer Is Declined
Not every offer ends in a deal, and that’s okay. If we decline your offer, it’s not personal — it simply means that it didn’t align with our price range for that item.
You’re still welcome to:
- Submit a new offer (if still within your daily limit)
- Wait and try again later
- Purchase at the listed price if it’s still available
We appreciate every offer, even the ones we can’t accept. They show interest, and that’s something we value.
How You’ll Receive Updates
All updates — including acceptances, counter-offers, or declines — will be sent to the email address you provide when making the offer. Make sure it’s valid and check your spam or promotions folder just in case.
If you don’t hear back within 24 hours, feel free to contact us. We want to make sure nothing gets missed.
Privacy and Trust
Your offer is private. No one else can see it, and we never publish offer history. Your personal information is never shared, and all payments are handled through encrypted, secure checkout.
We built this process around respect, safety, and simplicity — so you can shop and negotiate with total peace of mind.
Why We Offer This
We’re not just here to sell — we’re here to connect with people who care about these items as much as we do. The “Make an Offer” feature is about flexibility, fairness, and meeting halfway when it makes sense.
- It puts the buyer in control.
- It opens space for conversation and mutual respect.
- It’s how we’d want to be treated if the roles were reversed.
If you have a serious interest in a piece, don’t hesitate — send us an offer. We’ll always take it seriously and do our best to work with you.
Still Have Questions?
If anything’s unclear, or if you want help with a specific item or offer, just reach out. We’re a real team, and we respond personally to every message. Use our contact page or write us directly — we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
