Mosasaurs were large marine reptiles that dominated the oceans during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. These powerful predators were not dinosaurs but belonged to the family Mosasauridae — marine lizards closely related to modern monitor snakes and lizards.
Our Mosasaur fossil collection includes jaws, teeth, vertebrae, and bone fragments from the phosphate deposits of Morocco. Each specimen is naturally fossilized and 100% genuine, sourced directly from the Oulad Abdoun Basin and other rich fossil beds in Morocco.
Mosasaur fossils from Morocco are world-renowned for their exceptional preservation. The phosphate-rich sediments created ideal conditions for fossilization, preserving fine details of bone structure and surface texture. Whether you are a seasoned collector or new to fossils, our Mosasaurs collection offers specimens for every level of interest.
All specimens are photographed individually so you see the exact piece you will receive. We ship worldwide with full tracking and insurance.
