Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is one of the most fascinating dinosaurs ever discovered — a massive, semi-aquatic predator that inhabited the rivers and coastlines of North Africa during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 100 to 94 million years ago. It is widely regarded as the largest carnivorous dinosaur known to science, surpassing even Tyrannosaurus rex and Giganotosaurus in overall length. Its most distinctive feature was the tall neural spines on its back, which formed a sail-like structure that may have been used for display, thermoregulation, or aiding in swimming. Our Spinosaurus collection features a wide range of fossils from the Kem Kem region of Morocco, including teeth, claws, vertebrae, and rare bone fragments. The Kem Kem beds are one of the most prolific dinosaur fossil sites in the world, preserving an incredible diversity of Cretaceous life including Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and giant coelacanths.
Spinosaurus teeth are the most commonly found fossils of this species and are instantly recognizable by their long, conical shape with fine longitudinal striations and subtle serrations along the carinae. These teeth were perfectly adapted for catching fish, with a shape similar to modern crocodilians. The teeth range in size from small juvenile specimens of 2-3 cm to impressive adult teeth exceeding 10 cm in length. Claws and vertebrae are rarer and highly prized by collectors. All our Spinosaurus fossils come from reputable Moroccan dig sites and are 100% genuine. Each specimen includes a certificate of authenticity confirming its geological origin and provenance.
